CONMED operates facilities that are accredited by both the American Correctional Association (ACA) and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). We comply with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements for healthcare facilities.

We operate under the stringent Constitutional requirement to meet a level of care comparable to that which is found in the community. Standards compliance is an ongoing process; we take all steps necessary to ensure that our contracted facilities meet requirements at all times.

We are extremely proud of our 100% audit success rate. We have passed every audit since the Company’s inception in 1984, including those of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), the American Correctional Association (ACA), and all state audits where we provide services. We also have a 100% success record on all U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) audits at facilities that house Department of Homeland Security’s detainees.
